Inside a session

The room, as it actually is.

A morning in the dome in South Austin. A circle of people who mostly arrived not knowing each other, lying down to receive. This is all of it, unstaged.

Julia standing in the dome beside sunflowers while the group rests on the floor

What the camera misses

The part that does not photograph.

Stills catch the faces. This is nearer to what is actually moving through the room while they rest.

Scroll to turn the wall.

The dome

The room, moving.

The same space the photographs were taken in, with people in it.

Scroll to move through the room.

In motion

Some of it doesn't sit still.

Filmed on a phone during real sessions, so they are grainy and unposed. That is rather the point. Sound off, on a loop, exactly as they were shot.

Group activations run at Third Eye Meditation Lounge and other locations in Austin. Private sessions are in person or online. Either way, it begins with a conversation.
